why thursday?
Thursday Floral Co. was founded on the idea that any day is a good day for flowers, and that the people who love the "not-your-everyday" types of flowers are our kind of people.
As a weekday, Thursday doesn't get a lot of love. It's late in the week, but feels so far from Friday, it's not exciting and full of promise like Saturday, doesn't have it's own (weird) nickname like Wednesday, and is nowhere near as chill as Sunday. At least it's not Monday, but it's not far off.
That's why flowers on a Thursday just feels right. Whether for a wedding, party, business, or just because, flowers on a Thursday feel incredibly indulgent, coyly rebellious, and casually badass.

I've loved flowers for as long as I can remember, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I could make it into a career. Years ago, I got an amazing opportunity to begin working as a floral designer at Native Poppy, the coolest flower shop/wedding florist in San Diego. I absolutely fell in love with getting to work with fresh flowers every day. It's an incredibly demanding job, physically, mentally, and creatively, but it's just as equally rewarding! I can't believe I found a career that can make a genuine impact on folk's lives--from "just because" flowers, to providing beauty, compassion, and love for life's most important occasions.
Once I relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, I decided to branch out on my own and open my own floral business with Thursday Floral Co. I'm so excited to be able to provide sustainable, artistic, modern, and intentional florals to folks in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos, and beyond!
